This is the simple mission statement of Turning Leaf ServicesSM, dedicated to fostering safety in the home and for the community.

Turning Leaf ServicesSM is a comprehensive outpatient treatment program for youth 18 years old or younger with sexually aggressive behaviors.

The goal of Turning Leaf ServicesSM to youth and their families is to provide therapeutic interventions in a safe environment. We support and encourage youth to change their thoughts and learn new skills that allow for healthy, age-appropriate sexual behaviors.

Turning Leaf ServicesSM supports both male and female youth that have demonstrated:

  • Problems with crossing physical boundaries in a sexual way by touching . . .
  • Sexual behaviors that are more advanced or inappropriate for the youth’s age . . .
  • Behaviors where the youth is facing current or potential charges through the court system.

We also provide aftercare services for youth returning home after in-patient treatment.

Services provided:

  • Psychosexual evaluations and juvenile sex offender assessments
  • Juvenile Sex Offender specific treatment
  • Individual outpatient therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Family support groups
  • Moral development groups
  • Relapse prevention groups

Nancy Evans, LCSW, CSOTP, has held her Certification to provide Sex Offender Treatment from the first year that it became a requirement, in 1999. We welcome referrals from various agencies and jurisdictions in the Northern Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, Winchester City, Frederick County, Page County, Warren County, and Clarke County, as well as Washington, D.C.
